Executive Director Announcement

Dear Members and Friends of the Reach South Texas Church Planting Network,
The Reach South Texas Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Luke Evans as our new Executive Director.
Over the past two years, the Board and members of the Network have engaged in thoughtful reflection on the history of Reach South Texas and how we can more effectively pursue our mission of planting churches. One consistent conclusion has been the need for full-time, dedicated leadership to help implement and advance the vision of the Network.
With this in mind, the Board—together with the MNA Committee of the South Texas Presbytery—developed and approved a new job description for a full-time Executive Director earlier this year. Following a careful search, the Board unanimously invited Rev. Luke Evansto serve in this role.
Luke has been involved in Reach South Texas from the beginning, serving as a founding Board member and as Chairman from 2022 to 2024. He is a former church planter within the South Texas Presbytery and has served on the MNA Committee for 11 years. He brings a deep commitment to the gospel and a passion for church planting and revitalization across South Texas.
We are confident that Luke’s leadership will strengthen and expand the work of the Network as we continue to plant healthy, gospel-centered churches. He will officially begin his role on September 1, 2025.
